Contract Description:
The Banks Lake Fishery Evaluation Project (2001-028-00) ended on September 30, 2020.  We are phasing towards a new project (2020-001-00- Status and Trend Monitoring of Piscivorous above McNary Dam).  This contract will include any refinement of the ISRP approved (Memorandum 2021-10) proposal (Piscivorous Fish Status and Trend Monitoring in the Columbia River Upstream of McNary Dam), completion of the Biological Assessment, participation in the Section 7 consultation process to obtain a permit, and first year of field work to collect piscivores. Piscivore abundance and species-specific habitat density data will be collected and analyzed to ground truth field and analysis (modeling) methodologies. These Data will ultimately be used to define management actions. We will also prepare public relations and outreach plans.
